Digital Arts Workshops
Time: 3 – 5:30 pm
Tuesday 1st & Thursday 3rd November
Tuesday 8th & Thursday 10th November
Tuesday 15th & Thursday 17th November
Creative Kids are offering free after school digital arts workshops to children age 8+. The aim is to explore the works of Mary Shelley and create a piece of digital art that tells her story. During sessions children can book an iPad, research the artist using an ‘Interactive History of Frankenstein’ and use creative apps in either music, art, writing, animation or film to produce a final artwork. All work produced will be presented to the public in a Digital Art Exhibition during The Shelley Frankenstein Festival. Sessions are supported by an Arts Award Advisor who can offer one-to-one support and provide useful resources for research on the Author’s work, life and legacy. Sessions contribute to Part B and C of the Arts Award. New members must book an iPad and Arts Box induction. These workshops are an opportunity for children to build on line portfolios and record their arts journeys on the Arts Box Platform. https://www.artsbox.co.uk/
